Wedding Guest Outfit

Morning Gorgeous!

I don't know if it is just me but can you believe we're half way through March already?! This year is flying in so quick.

So I got so many questions about my dress from the wedding that I said I would write a post on it to give everyone the details of the site I got it from and how I chose my size etc.

It was Lisa Jordan from JustJordanBlog that I originally found the site. I went on hoping I would find something for the wedding because I had been looking for weeks with no luck. Everything I found was too expensive and I just cannot afford to pay €150 - €200 on a dress so I set out to find something a little cheaper.
I do love a good bargain and I struggle to pay too much for one item - I've always been like that! So where there was a will there was a way, I seen this dress (or very similar) on My Celebrity Closet for €130 and I just was not prepared to pay over €100 so imagine how excited I was when I found the dress on the ROMWE site for only €38 - I ordered it whilst being a little sceptical of quality since it was so cheap.

Delivery

It arrived in 5 days which I was extremely surprised about but I noticed on the site that some of the items have a 24 hour shipping tag on them so don't expect every item you buy to be delivered so quick. For example I ordered a few other bits from there around 2 weeks ago now and still no sign of it - so allow lots of time if you're ordering anything without the 24 hour shipping on it. I've included a screen grab of the site below showing the 24 hour shipping note so you know what to look out for!

Sizing

So this is most likely the most difficult part of online shopping and this site only does sizing in Small, Medium, Large. The trick with this one is to click on the size and check the measurements, I checked a few dresses and the smalls were all different so it's important to check! I measured my waist and bust for this one to make sure it would fit. I included a screen grab from the website showing once you click it gives you the full details.
I had one small alteration to do and that was the choker part - when it was buttoned at the back it was too loose so I got it stitched so it would sit properly. It was a tiny alteration which cost €12 in The Zip Yard in Letterkenny. Apart from that the dress was absolutely perfect and the quality was amazing.

I paired the dress with simple heels from Penneys as I am quite short so the dress was slightly longer on me so the heels had to be simple. I chose a black blazer with leather lapel and I just love it, it's from H&M and it was €40 - it's the kind of blazer that will never date and will just go with everything.

I used the handbag I got at the handbag museum in Amsterdam and it had similar colours to the dress instead of going with black.

Hair and Makeup

I got both done in G&G in Letterkenny, it was my first time trying them but I was pretty impressed. I was a bit scared of the hair when it was done at first but once it dropped slightly and I put the dress on I definitely changed my mind - I got lots of lovely compliments on it and it lasted for 3 days so BONUS!
I liked my makeup too - I did have to fix my brows slightly and I also darkened the eye shadow a little but apart from that it was lovely. It photographed really well which was of course a plus. It cost €55 for both which is a pretty good deal.
The girls were really lovely in there too which makes it a nicer experience!
Of course I forgot to save the proper photos I took of the makeup - as usual!
