August Beauty Faves

Morning Gorgeous!

Today I'm sharing some of my August Beauty faves - there are so many amazing products out there now it's hard to know what to try. I always try things that I've read great reviews about or something I see in store or online that looks nice - it's a lot of trial and error really. I have bought plenty of stuff that I'll never use again but also have awesome new finds that I love.

Beauty products can be generally quite expensive so if you think you'd like to try something that is a little more expensive than you usually pay then make sure and look up reviews online, there is nothing worse than forking out your hard earned cash and finding the product you've bought doesn't work or doesn't suit your skin type. Troll the Internet for as much info as possible! Everything in this post are bargain buys also so I hope you find something that interests you for a great price!

So my August faves are:

1. Loreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation - 13 Rose Beige - €12.99

This is a dupe for the Estée Lauder double wear and I don't know about any of you but I have never found a foundation with the coverage like Double wear - until now!! Especially not for only €12.99! Honestly if you invest in anything this month then get this - it is the ultimate bargain.

2. Kate for Rimmel Lipstick - 43 Rossetto - €6.99

I am a sucker for a nude Lippy and this is a great one. I adore this shade so much and it has great last.

3. Wet n Wild lip liner - 712 Willow - €1.99

These pencils are fab, some great colours and this one is perfect with my Kate lippy and such a bargain.

4. Catrice Cosmetics Kohl Kajal eye liner - 040 White

I think everyone should have a white or nude liner, I never wear black on my water line anymore as the white just opens the eyes and I love this one. It lasts for ages too. I can't remember the price of this but I know its very cheap.

5. Catrice Cosmetics Matte Shadow - 790 I Wear My Plum Glasses At Night

I absolutely adore a Matte shadow and this is fab - this colour is perfect for day wear on its own all over the lid or at night with some darker tones blended in with some liquid liner. Lasts all day or night and doesn't crease. Again with this one I can't remember the price of this but Catrice have the most reasonably priced make up out there at the minute so I know it wasn't expensive.

Morning Gorgeous!

So as you can all see I am officially back in shopping mode! I have splurged a little recently  but I had to catch up ;) If you follow my Instagram, Facebook or Snapchat you'll know how bad I've been - or good, depends on how you look at it :P

My boyfriend and I decided to go for a few drinks last night because it has been ages since we did anything at all. We headed to House in Letterkenny for a few fancy cocktails and some great live music. I love that place so much!

Since we decided so last minute I just went for jeans and heels - I got these heels this week so I have been dying to wear them so white jeans seemed perfect with them. I ADORE these shoes - the are from Lasula Boutique and I got money off with a discount code so I think they only cost me £24 which is nothing! Such an amazing price for such a fab shoe and they have them in black and charcoal too which are equally as amazing!

So I threw on my trusty white jeans from River Island and a little black top I got for my birthday that I've never actually worn - I love the neckline on this. It came from Penneys. I am in desperate need of my hair cut but I am trying to hold out now for holidays so it'll be freshly done for my week of pure bliss! :)

So I decided to add in my makeup for this post as I was totally impressed with myself for once! Do you know when you do your makeup and you think ah I messed up my brows or my liner is too thick or my contour is not blending properly? Well I always have something that did not work right for me but last night everything seemed to just work so I was delighted.

I have become obsessed with Catrice Cosmetics recently as everything I try is just amazing and last night I tried a new Matt eyeshadow and a nude lippy and I loved them both. Seriously their makeup is super cheap but is so good, I can't believe I have not used them until now.

Holiday Haul!

So after quite some time I went on a bit of a shopping spree on Friday! I reached breaking point and just splurged and it was so much fun and well overdue! We booked a holiday last week so I have been dying to buy holiday clothes so on Friday after work I took a nip into Penneys, H&M and New Look so here is what I bought. :)

H&M

I absolutely love H&M, everything is so cheap and they have some beautiful Summer bits, lots of patterns, suede and tassels! 

- Bikini - 

Top - €14.99, Bottoms - €9.99

This bikini is to die for - I tried it on last night and it is just FAB! Perfect shape and fits so well. The top is a little skimpy so might not be ideal for anyone with bigger boobs as it wouldn't cover very much thankfully I don't have that problem! :P

Love love love the pattern.

- Sleeveless Shirt -

Love the pattern on this too, so Summery and for €9.99 sure how could you go wrong! 

- Dress -

This is just perfect for holidays, so cute and a lovely shape on. Perfect with some flats for the evening - really nice on.

I love monochrome and I am picturing this with white jeans and heels for a few evening drinks - so cute!

- Patterned Blouse -

I absolutely adore this blouse - it is so light but seriously what about that pattern?! Amazing! So in love with this! 

New Look

New Look had a massive sale on and I prefer to shop online with Sales as you can filter out all the clothes that are not in your size which is ideal. I do hate flicking through sale rails and finding every size but mine but there were some lovely Summer dresses reduced.

- Jumpsuit -

I love this print - very boho! This is very cute on - really light material so perfect for holidays and a bargain at 15 bucks!

- Sandals -

I have been looking for sandals for ages and have not been able to find the ones I want although I do need a simple pair for day time on holidays so I got these cuties.

Penneys

I didn't get as much as usual in Penneys as we did not have much time and I need LOADS of time in Penneys - my boyfriend hates when we go in there because we're there for hours!

- Beach Towel -

Well you can't go on holidays without a new beach towel right?! AND this has flamingos on it so obviously I was going to buy it!

So I stupidly bought a smaller size in this as the size 8 top looked very big - well I was wrong! It is too small so I'll have to find something else but I really love the style of this so I'll be trying to get something similar. I think everyone needs a black bikini!

The legs need a good scrubbing to get them nice and smooth before I have to wear a bikini... in public.... in front of people.... oh god....

So apart from getting some white undies in Penneys also that is everything that is in my bags. My first holiday haul - I can probably guarantee there will be another one before we head off as we're not going until September (maybe time for 2 more!)

Peachy Keen

Morning Gorgeous!

Happy Sunday - I am having a bit of a lazy day today. I left the house to buy groceries and moisturiser and that is as exciting as it got! I am going to have a girly night and watch The Longest Ride tonight with my bestie - love those nights! :)

So we were invited to the evening do of a wedding on Friday and I ended up working until 9 so it was a bit of a rush job to get ready but we got there and had a fabulous night. So much fun and so nice to catch up with people I haven't seen in ages. 

Normally first thing I would do is go out and buy a new dress for something like this but my no shopping ban is still intact so I found this dress in the back of my wardrobe that I got at Christmas on sale in River Island and it still had the tags on so technically it was still new right?! Its really simple but very cute and perfect for an occasion like this. I loved the peach colour and the little gold pieces just gave it that more of a glam look!

I teamed it with a black and gold handbag, my trusty Public Desire lace ups and a black leather jacket to give it that edgy look. I kept my jewellery simple and wore a dainty layered necklace and midi bracelets and a few simple gold rings.

My makeup I kept relatively simple - nude/gold eyes and a cranberry lip with a good bit of highlighter. This is probably the only decent makeup photo I have because I forgot to get one with rushing out the door (featuring my lovely man friend)

My Wish list - First Edition

So ya'll know I am trying to stop shopping for a while, I've done nothing but complain about it since I started! Haha! I have so many clothes that I haven't even worn yet (don't tell anyone I said that!) so I am now getting wear out of everything which is definitely a plus. So I have been avoiding shops and sites as best I can so far but yesterday I decided to take a nosey online and around town - for my sins! I could have bought everything, so many beautiful things! 

So I decided to put together a wish list for some Summer inspo for ya'll, I narrowed it down to 2 items out of each place otherwise I would be typing into next week! I hope you enjoy!

Mustard Draped Dress

How amazingly beautiful is this - so Egyptian and luxurious looking. I'm thinking black lace up heels and a leather jacket would look really fab with this. Stunning!

Suede Fringe Boots

These just scream festival! The colour, the suede, the fringe! I love them, gorgeous with a little khaki playsuit at a festival. Beaut!

- River Island -

Pink paisley print shirt dress

I am an absolute sucker for Paisley so I just fell in love with this as soon as I seen it! A bit pricey at €67 but really fab!

Beige print strappy cropped jumpsuit

I adore Jumpsuits and Culottes so I just LOVE this style and the pattern on this one is amazing. Will definitely be investing when I start shopping again!

- New Look - 

Yellow Tile Print Peplum Crop Top

There is something about this that I just love - I'm picturing white jeans and wedges with it. So cute for Summer!

I love this little bikini - I am really fussy with bikinis, I can never find the right one but I do love this little one! The pattern is uber cute and I love the shape of the top - very flattering.

So that is my very first wish list - no doubt there will be more posts like these as I have a list as long as my arm! What is on your wish list?
